This website and the KITE application are operated by Solid Grid Systems GmbH, Bundesallee 187, 10717 Berlin, Germany.
When you create an account or purchase a license, we collect: your email address, your license key, and basic account data required for authentication. We do not collect analytics, tracking data, or usage telemetry from within the application itself. On our public website (not the application), we use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics (Umami) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This analytics service does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. All data is stored on our own servers in Europe.
We use your account data solely to provide the Service: authenticating your account, validating your license, and communicating with you about your purchase or account. Website analytics data is used only in aggregate to understand traffic patterns and improve our public website; it is never used to identify or profile individual visitors.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment information directly. We do not store your credit card or payment details. Please refer to Paddle's privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.
Account authentication is handled through Appwrite. Your email and hashed password are stored securely. We do not have access to your plain-text password.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain your account and license data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required to provide the Service (Paddle for payments, Appwrite for authentication). Our website analytics (Umami) is self-hosted on our own infrastructure, so analytics data is never shared with any third party.
